Found 5 flakes only 8" to 12" down on a little cobbler bank this year. Only 1 little flake down deeper. Your guys line in this vid looks about right. ^.^

Which river and location are you on in this vid? BTW, you will recover more gold if you WASH your big rocks, do not just brush them off, Wash them with water really well.... you will be surprised by the extra gold you start to find.

@lofreco i was on the north fork of the american river. Because you have to dig so far from the water if you try to do a wet classifier it just ends up slowing you down way to much having to bring water to your hole. You end up not finding as much gold because you spend so much time on that even tho you recover more gold from the rocks

very cool keep diging in that spot the bigger ones are prob. down deeper.. Dude i bet thats at least 4 grams.. go to a smoke shop and get a scale. Very good video A+....

@jessgo33 i was out yesterday, did 30 buckets asked a local how much he think i had and he said over a pennyweight so i'm at like 2g+ but i had a little more than thats in this video from a couple trips before, sure is hard work doesn't get any easier. Im gonna be taking a few trips a week out here for the next 2 months+, its been worked pretty hard but theres at least 2 months work left
