Kentucky is loaded with hauntings. Here are ten of the most interesting...

1. Cumberland Bridge, Cumberland Falls: Haunted by a female apparition which cries at night.

2. Eastern Cemetery, Louisville: Many apparitions, one in particular being of a female who wanders around the section where children are buried.

3. Gates Of Hell Cemetery, Elizabethtown: Infamous site populated by shadow people, with electrical interference, strange screaming noises, and orbs.

4. Liberty Hall, Frankfort: Five apparitions: An old lady in gray, a ghost soldier, a native american, a young female in the backyard, and another unknown female in the building.

5. Lick Creek Cemetery, Dawson Springs: Haunted by apparitions, including the usual glowing eyes and also, less common, translocation of objects.

6. Perryville Battlefield, Boyle: Soldiers' apparitions at night.

7. Shaker Village, Harrodsburg: At night, the sounds of babies crying can be heard. This is tied to a now drained pond which was used by Shakers to dump unwanted children.

8. Spurlington Tunnel, Campbellsville: Cursed location, as tied to a legend involving a witch and train robbers.

9. Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green: Half a dozen hauntings, including the museum (by a male apparition), the library (by a young child's apparition), Poltergeist activity in Barnes-Campbell Hall, A female apparition in Rhodes Harlin Hall, and a male apparition in the Van Meter auditorium.

10. White Hall Manson, Richmond: At least three apparitions, along with sightings of ghost children, by young individuals, with the sound of pianos or music boxes occasionally playing, as well as disembodied footsteps associated with the scent of perfume, candles, apple pie, bourbon, or bacon.
