  • you used too daisy chain on cassette because you only had 3k plus ramis what i did with my game i made for vic called escape from abato nobodys probly ever heard of it i sold it in a few stores in cali back in 1981

  • @greyhoundgill was you daisy chaining your basic programs

  • @ghostman3331 i did use a disk drive though.

  • oh ok u was using an emulator my bad but it was still not the actual vic20 there was no was to access assembly language with the old vic unless you was a computer scientist at commadore and had the backdoor codes or the plug in chips i sold my maxed out vic 20 for 350 dollars back in the day so i could get a trs80 model 3 then trashed the keyboard when i spill coke in it then got an amiga 2000 then windows bought them out so i went hewlet packard which was a fuckin warhorse i think my old girlf

  • @ghostman3331 yeah, quite a good demo for having no expansion

  • @greyhoundgill yeah nice state of the art at that time and with sound wow you was pushing the envelope if you was using this with a 16k ram hey with just a little more ram you could play rockem sockem robots with this setup

  • @ghostman3331 read top comment. i ran it on an EMU with the 16k ram box un-ticked and it ran fine. so it is prettey impressive

  • That was not done on a vic without 16k expansion memory pluged in the back.

  • Not so crappy, but it seems Dekadence is outputting maximum volume on the VIC-20 which tends to cause distortion to the sound. At half the volume and amplified externally, it would sound much better.
