Just buy a coolermaster v8 or v10 for air cooling
my q9550 is stabel at 4ghz idle temp is 38 and max 57 on prime 95

I have Q6600 @ 3.6 under water and i have full load about 70C.
I think that is overkill with air to clock @ 3.8.

Hey man can you help me, I just purchase this mobo on ebay, I was wonder how far I can OC a q9550 to... with this mobo. and do you know where I can find the latest bios for this motherboard.

@UltraNSC I use coretemp as 2 of my 4 cores on my q9400 idle at 22c on air so yeah its possible for 50's under load. I'm using a zalman 9500 and antec 1200 btw. This is with my cpu at 3.2 though.

Yeah ur right, but why would i lie? And the score kinda shows the clock. Same with the super PI. Watch some Q6600 super pi times and u'll see it's @ 3,8 ghz
