ACS is an international telecommunications company that is positioned to service client needs in the US, Europe and Africa.

We design, build and operate international circuits for processing voice, video and data traffic. These circuits can be based on a combination of terrestrial fiber or microwave, international undersea fiber and satellite space segment...depending on customer needs.

The engineering team engaged by ACS consists of a staff of dedicated telecommunications and network engineers and technicians having over 200 combined years of continuous, hands-on expertise as well as several industry-standard technical certifications and degrees. These include: Degrees in Computer Science, Telecommunications, and Electrical Engineering; as well as MBAs and certifications with Microsoft, Cisco and WiFi Technology Security Engineering; Microwave and Wireless Technologies. This team is supported by a management staff that is both professional and seasoned, possessing a wide range of solid industry experience.

From the start, ACS was formed for the purpose of serving telecom partners in Africa. These partner-providers want better route alternatives with enhanced service features, higher reliability and greater cost-effectiveness. ACS's primary purpose is to transmit international voice and data traffic between the US/ Canada/Europe and Africa. Traffic is transmitted using the very latest and best satellite and terrestrial technologies. Traffic transmitted by ACS can originate from wholesale customers and from Voice-Over-IP (VoIP) providers.

We operate from an Intelsat-approved teleport in Dulles, Virginia, just outside Washington, DC. This earth station is licensed for 9 antennae and currently has several Standard B and F3 antennae servicing Africa, Europe and various areas of the world.

ACS can implement integrated multi-service support for voice and data applications. We deliver cutting-edge fault-tolerant solutions based on traditional TDM, as well as open, flexible carrier-class IP telephony components and modules. We are IP voice processing experts, using highly efficient voice coders like G.729 and other compression algorithms to minimize network bandwidth requirements, while maintaining tier-1, toll-quality standards. Our IP voice networks are also based on protocols such as H.323, MGCP and SIP. These designs and implementation methods also help our customers reduce network costs.
