Is Jesus Christ God or just a prophet?

Did He ever claim to be God?

What do the ancient texts tell us?

What do Muslims believe about Jesus? Is he a prophet or more than a prophet?

Representing the Muslim perspective was Brother Ahmed Hamed: Brother Ahmed is a young scholar on Islam and comparative religion.

He spoke about the similarities between both religions and clarified the perceived differences among religious scholars in light of the Qur'an, Gospels and Torah.

Representing the Christian side was Pastor Thabiti Anyabwile: Thabiti M. Anyabwile is senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands.

He was previously an assistant pastor at Capitol Hill Baptist Church (Washington, DC) and served as an elder at Church on the Rock (Raleigh, NC).

Thabiti has a strong professional and academic background in community psychology, with special interest in the history and development of the African American church.

He holds B.A. and M.S. degrees in psychology from North Carolina State University. He and his wife, Kristie, have two daughters.

The Topic: Who is Jesus Christ? In the light of the Bible and the Qur'an

A dialogue between Brother Ahmed Hamed and Pastor Thabiti M. Anyabwile (from the First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman)

  • the ignorant never know how to make a point without insulting and using profane language. i was actually going to ignore what you said because this isnt even a debate its just you rambling on about why you hate a book you dont believe in but just to correct you the arabic language AS DOCUMENTED is one of 3 Semitic languages; AS DOCUMENTED the first written form can be traced back to 325 CE. 3 hundred years before the quran was written. you can simmer in your ignorance makes no difference. peace

  • oh wow i see that you are an idiot lol. let me explain why. To say the quran has grammatical errors is a stupid claim because you idiot the arabic language as it exists is based on the quran its not the other way around. So the law of grammar is dictated by the quran if thats the case, and it is the case read the history of the arabic language you idiot, you cant say the quran is full of grammatical errors because it is the one that grammar is based upon lol. show me contradictions please!!

  • Another miss understanding of Yeshayahu 53:2 For He grew up before Him as a tender plant and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or splendour that we should look upon Him, nor appearance that we should desire Him –

Nothing to do with His normal appearance! Yeshayahu 52:14 As many were astonished at You – so the disfigurement beyond any man’s and

His form beyond the sons of men...

Its about the actual punishment of His appearance! He was a handsome man just like King Da`ud (David)!

  • Both of you worship and is dominate by Odin the pagan EL (Mighty Shepard) of the English people! And all the rest of you who invoke his Runic Magic Language of the Babylonians!

  • Miss quotation and not understanding Bemidbar 23:19 “Ĕl is not a man, to lie; nor a son of man, to repent! Has He said and would He not do it; or spoken and would not confirm it?

He talking about performing His word and He's not two faced like man! GOT IT!

Both of you have no understanding of the Festivals of Yahuah. Alef Tav had to become flesh to pay for the transgression of Adam and Re-Marry His people Yisra’ĕl to restore His covenant He promised to Abrahim!

  • There never was a person name Jesus (Hey Zeus) Christ (Crio; smear) who died for anybody! Jesus is a Latin word replacing iesous which is a miss-trans (lation, literation) of Yahusha. Jesus|iesous doesn't sound like Yahusha!

The Codex Sanaiticus which is the oldest Greek Besorah only contains the letters ιυ χυ (Yodh & Waw /oo/, /kh/ & Waw /oo/) its a place holder for the Name of Yahusha (Yodh Hey Waw Shen Ayin). NOT JESUS or IESOUS, Got it!

  • Christians often talk about developing a relationship with Christ and accepting him into their lives. They assert that Jesus is much more than a man and died on the cross to free mankind from the original sin. Christians speak of Jesus with love and respect, and it is obvious he holds a special place in their lives and hearts. But what about Muslims; what do they think about Jesus and what place does Jesus Christ hold in Islam?

  • the first written form of arabic was not fully devellopped in any way. Only after muhammad's death the written form of arabic was finally accurate, disciplined and finally disciplined-not thanks to cunt muhamamd who was illiterate.

  • At the time the quran was written by a bunch of semi-illieterate arab bedouin retard criminals, thiefs, rapists and bandits-first muslims- the arabic language in its written form didn't even existed. lol You make me laugh. Only later the arabic language, immitating the aramaic written form got into terms with itself.the original quran is a pile of shit!
