My M91 900 Turbo are made in Finland. What a great car!!!

Yea Valmet-Automotive, out president Kekkonen wanted car production to here, preferred ofc own designed car at first but later goverment made a agreement with Saab, Swedish car manufacturer.
Saab 90/99 Finlandia is somewhat Finnish design and the "upcoming" V8 engine was designed and manufactured in Finland, otherwise it's pure Swedish design with some ideas from Finnish engineers.

I'd say next new Saabs are interesting because of all-new 9-5 and 9-4x. Even now out of GM boundary.

Factory in Finland was not owned by Saab-Scania. It was Finnish company called Valmet Automotive, who makes Saab`s 1968-2003 co-operation with Saab Automobile. For example Saab Turbo is designed in Finland. Today Valmet Automotive makes Porsche Boxter. All best to you.
