Now I finish off the genesis games with Spinball and Mean bean machine, then I go over the mid-generation games from the Sega CD, 32X, and Saturn era. Next time I will move on to the Dreamcast era, starting with Sonic Adventure.

  • I would've brought up that Mean Bean Machine was actually Puyo Puyo, a popular puzzle game franchise in Japan. They attached it to the Sonic franchise for the US release in the hopes that it'd sell better. The SNES equivalent was Kirby's Avalanche.

  • interesting, I compared it to tetris and Dr. Mario because I have personal experience with those games.
