U mean if you wrote something, and press space in the middle of it? I think you mean you have to press Insert

This has been bothering me for a LONG LONG LONG time. I don't know why, but SOMETIMES, when i'm using Microsoft word, whenever I type something, or press space, the letter in front is deleted. WHAT DO I DO?? PLZ RESPOND! IT WOULD REALY HELP!
