Against Fantasy

When life is viewed through self-indulgent fantasy,
Existence truly counts as nothing.

For however I might labour to imagine pain,
There is no agony at all;
The unpleasantness I fantasize
Is as comfortingly remote from me,
And as distant, as Infinity,
Whistles up a memory?
But still refers to nothing 'here'!

When as in an empty movie house,
the ravages of war are left behind.
When, emerging from my reverie,
The flickers of my mind
No longer fill the screen
And I was never bothered
By what has never been;
Or, if I was upset,
I was being a drama queen!

How this middle class pornography is as nothing
As in ... valueless!

Or, if there was catharsis,
it, too, was merely seen
Through the same scant commotion
of a false-alarm,
And then ... superficially!

If there is a better poet than you calling himself/herself a Satanist you would have to point me to him or her because I am not aware of them, living or dead.

Unless you count Crowley as a Satanist, which I know you do.

Of course, we don't agree there--but you really should agree that Crowley was not a Satanist, you know, if only to eliminate the competition & leave the Best Poet distinction all to yourself.

@JamesNealFox Well okay then, thanks! I was just thinking today about the true nature of pride, which could be defined as 'fighting for your identity and right to exist' like, for example, gay pride.

I know nothing about Metal lyrics; the lyricist of White Zombie is a find poet, I am sure there are some metal bands out there who create good lyrics, which is harder to do than poetry IMO.

And recaps the essential religious philosophy of Satanism for good measure.

i prefer the trippy music of Can, Faust, Gong, early Floyd, Zapper,the early Tangerine Dream, before they sold out to commercial new age; and the like. And even the great Graham Bond, his Holy Magick LP, for example, now very rare.

And Punk, but also hard core gangster rap - rap is pure genius.

Bear in mind too, that calling a fantasy any project that you cannot complete because you simply do not have the information, nor the will to power, or any idea whatsoever to complete it with, is an indicator of great stupidity. The ONA´s expression of Baphomet, let´s say it is a fantasy... but if it will give you strength to defeat the enemy... who cares? Our fantasies are the children of our will to power.

So I shall say: Agains the fantasy of the weak. The merit of existence in mind and body is truly obliterated by the insane with a fantasy that ignores physical non-metaphysical supremacy. Maybe Nargargole´s arguments are annoying... so I decide to lose myself in my fantasy world, where I who cannot achieve, am king.

There is also an evil expression of fantasy in Chrisitanity in the "Übermensch Dialectic"... which is people who will attack anything superior and arrogant and they will with their fantasy about God and false righteousness and their heaven, provide some value to their non-valuable existence. Using their world, they will gain value and attack that which makes them feel inferior and hurts their little mean feelings.

But you are right on not loosing oneself in fantasy. Insanity is having your own world in an invalid way, which is hard to explain. If you decide I am a pink elephant who must be killed because elephants are evil in the world of Arkanej, then that surely is unacceptble to me. LOL

Only, when you ignore how to bring your fantasy into existence, if that your fantasy is useless. If you decide you are a genius without tests, and training, and a whole lot of pathei mathos overcomed, then how? That is the meaning of true arrogance. All the Occult is also fantasy. Hitler´s Aryan supremacy is also fantasy, he knows, and we know, he created a religion, and he almost took the fucking Earth, using the axis of his "fantasy".

Novels, movies, music, are fantasy. And all of those things can give us immense strength... Even whole nation projects are fantasy, for they aim at a state which does not exist yet... but people are hoping to bring into existence. If I go and kill a whole nation, for my fantasy, is it a fantasy? I might call it "God". And the strength of it in the "real" world, will be much more "real" than anything, for it defeats all.

In my budo tradition, now practiced by about half a million people, there is esoteric knowledge, obviously inherently secret, practiced by all ancient budo grandmasters, in order to become stronger. This knowledge is not opened to anyone, and only to a 10th dan. It involves a lot of fantasy. Magic is too fantasy. Ki is fantasy. The soul is fantasy. The Gods are fantasy. Even the knowledge you read in books that you did not obtain throught real blood, is fantasy.
