New York -- [On Sunday, April 6 at 6:00 PM] The Congregation of B'nai Jeshurun, The Interfaith Center of New York, The Jewel heart, The Tibet Fund and The Gere Foundation joined the Buddhist Council of New York, The Temple of Understanding and the New York Open Center at The Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew in Manhattan for an interfaith vigil. "PRAYERS FOR PEACE IN TIBET" will host religious leaders from Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh and Native American faiths as they come together for prayer in honor of those who have died and those who continue to suffer as tensions escalate inside of Tibet. The candlelight vigil featured traditional Tibetan prayer, the reading of eyewitness accounts from Tibet and the presentation of a Joint Statement to the U.N Commission on Religious Freedoms which urges the Commission to request a call to action by the Chinese government.
Its sad that many people who support the evil communist party have no idea that thousands of Chinese have been TORTURED to DEATH in China since 1999.

May your heart be free from hate
May you love thy enemy
May Jesus appear before the Chinese Govt and show them the way
May they be a peaceful and caring govt.
The Iraq war is the result of hatred and vengeance. For peace to prevail, hatred must be eliminated.

Based on karma, one's suffering is the result of causes created by oneself in the past. Present actions will be the causes for future effects when the appropriate condition arises. Thus, blaming one's predicament on others does not end the suffering, regardless of race. Hatred generates more hatred and perpetuates forever. Only forgiveness will end hatred.

To all Chinese people around the world, we have nothing against the chinese people in general. What we are against is the brutal communist regime in Beijing. You will be seeing more protests in the times to come and you ought to know what these protests are for! I hope and pray that reason and justice will prevail!
