If thats a T-Rex...why does it have a cheap ugly HK canopy? I have a T-Rex 600...No way anyone would put a cheap hobbyking canopy on an Align product. So....thats a HK 600 correct?

You should try fishing with that. :-)

is the Trex 600, a 50 size heli or a 90 size? Thanks

Excellent. One of my mentors is an older gentleman who flies in a very smooth controlled manner. I love my 3D but every few flights I like to take it slow and try to be smooth like you guys. Every bit as rewarding as 3D.

Negative, Mate. All 100% Align. Floats are gone and the frame went into a Hughes 500 scale body equipped with a D.IY. light system. (Hughes 500 night flight). Anyway thanks for your concern.

Thanks for your comments guy's. 3D is out for me- haven't got the nerves any more but I like scale flying like my Hughes 500 night flight (7 LED's).
It is 60 size.

Hi Scott,
thanks for the positive comment. Because I don't fly 3D my battery pack is more on the conservative side. I use a 6S, 6000mA Lipo but also work with my DIY A123 battery pack. It exists of 14 cells (3.5V, 2300mA). First I match them in pairs of two and connect them in parallel. Those 7 packs are hooked up in series with the reult of having a 7S, 4600mA battery. I also added two JST plugs for individual cell charging. They also power my Hughes500 night flight with lights (in YTas well).

It's not that hard to fly on water with those big "boots". Important is to be able to control the Heli at any time. Got another clip of my Hughes 500 scale body flown at night in flood lights with high intensity LED's. Thanks anyway for your positive comment.

Claus

This is a excellent video. Wish I could fly as well as you. Please post some more videos. Thanks!

@jauchiu Thanks for your comment. I didn't learn it over night to fly my Heli's resonably well. Get yourself a good FS and practice and I mean a lot. You'll reach a stage where you don't think any more- you control the Heli like you operate your car. Than you're in business!
Good luck.

Claus
