Tiere gehören nicht in den Zirkus, sondern in die freie Wildbahn. Der Lebensraum "Zirkus" ist für die Tiere viel zu klein. Großkatzen z.B. stoßen nach einigen Schritten an Gitterstäbe, zwischen denen sie stundenlang verzweifelt hin und her streichen. Bären wiederum, eine von Natur aus sehr neugierige Art, leiden vor allem unter der Monotonie des Zirkusalltags.

Und an Perversion grenzt die Haltung von Seelöwen: Tiere, die in freier Wildbahn bis zu 100m tief tauchen, müssen ihr Leben in umgebauten LKW's fristen. Hinzu kommt bei allen Tieren der krank machende Streß durch die ständigen Transporte und Auftritte vor klatschendem und johlendem Publikum. Deswegen sollte man in Zirkusse gehen, in denen nur Menschen auftreten, wie den Chinesischen Zirkus, Cirque du Soleil oder Flic Flac.

Poor polar bears. One can just imagine how trainers break them to follow circus tricks like that.
They are not supposed to be taken into captivity and forced to "work" so that people will earn loads of money.
And what do they get in return? They are kept in small cages and not given ample food.
This is so wrong. People should stop going to any animal circus.

Watch the other, longer clip about these bears too. They're in their small cages, shaking their heads nervously from one side to another while people get to gawk at them. That's horrible and discusting!
