  • Not really, it actually lasts a long time. I've had decanted champagne a couple of times in the past few weeks and there were still plenty of bubbles by the time we got to the bottom of the decanter. Think about it, if an open bottle of champagne can last the night in the fridge and still have fizz in it the next day, those bubbles aren't going anywhere fast.
