#1 English Lesson - Dude

Hello my name is Greg and I'm your new english teacher.

Welcome to my first English lesson. You can also find me on Skype at EnglishTeacher98.

Today, we're going to talk about the word "Dude."

It is English slang for many things. For example, it can be used when you're excited. Instead of saying "cool" or "awesome" you can simply say "Dude!"

It could also be used for the opposite feeling... if you're sad or bummed about something you can say "duuude..."

Or if you think someone is very good looking... you can say "Dude, check her or him out..." depending on if you're a girl or guy.

You can also use it when you're upset or mad at someone. "Dude, not cool."

As you can see, the word "dude" can be used any many different situations.

Okay.....

The word Dude still has one definition, you simply added other words after the word dude.

You mainly used the word Dude as "Man" or "Hey" but you changed the expression with the tone of your voice.
