Second point, Oprah Winfrey did a program several years ago comparing a black high school (Dunbar) with a white high school in the suburbs (Naperville) and it is easy the stark differences. The white school looked like a state of the art college campus and the black school had a leaking roof.

l started to delete Fairway61's comment then i thought, no let it stand so black folk can see what kind of white mentality\ we are dealing with. Dunbar HS is a Chicago public school. Naperville is a Naperville Community Public school. The Per Pupil Expenditure (PPE) in Chicago (2003) is $10,392. The PPE for Naperville $10,999.

If you and I buy the same car, but you tear yours up and I keep mine like new, is discrimination the reason you don't have a nice car?

You quoted Larry McKeon, and he was lying. Illinois funds each school district equally on a per child basis. The rest of the funding is decided by local school tax district. In Illinois, both the highest and lowest total (state plus local) per pupil expenditure school systems are in excess of 90% white. Having a source is not sufficient, you should have checked your source.
