Unmolding a homemade Paraguayan "budín de pan" (bread pudding). Once you say a prayer, invert the mold and release the budín it is essential to scrape the "almibar" (caramelized sugar) from the bottom of the pan onto the budín.

Desmoldando un budín de pan casero paraguayo. Una vez que elevas una oración, invertís el molde y liberas el budín es esencial sacar el almibar del fondo de la olla y dejarlo caer sobre el budín!

  • While very typical in Paraguay, budín de pan is not exclusively Paraguayan, if that´s what you mean. It is popular and delicious throughout Latin America.

  • I love this desert ... but it's not typically paraguayan ...
