@deadfacewv Profiling may not work all the time, but is not really the point. We do not profile because we do not to be politically incorrect. We are so afraid of offended people we are willing to risk the lives of people to show how nice we are. Iran and Venezuzuels are working together and Hesbollah and Mexican drug cartels are teaming up. Go after Islam in America and you will get a lot of rats.

You completely went off topic and missed my point that profiling will not work with home-grown converts, like the two ladies I mentioned. Profiling alone will never work, and the next crazy bomber could be your next door neighbor/co-worker Bob who just changed his religion and went to the lunatic fringe part, but told no-one. Goes on a plane, no one stops to check him because he doesn't match the "profile".

My whole point was that they ARE converts, and would NEVER be profiled, since they are caucassion, blond and grew up in the US as did their parents and grandparents. NO ONE would know they were converts until after the fact. The ONLY reason they were caught is because they were stupid internet users. How can you profile people who don't DECLARE they are Muslims?

When "smarter" people convert, profiling just Muslims will do no damn good at all.

My point is, simple profiling would NOT catch them. You don't list religions to get a plane ticket, and they're life-long, generational citizens. So, profiling would NOT have caught them.

Terrorists interested on doing a 9-11 again won't be recognizable. They will look and talk like us.
