*Once the iceberg is spotted, some one needs to ring the bell in the lookout tower

*Once the bell rings, someone in the bridge needs to pick up the phone.

*In the bridge, set the telegraphs to 'stop'

*Also, someone will need to steer the steering wheel

*When the telegraphs are set to 'stop' the boiler room will get a notification to shut all the dampers.

*When at least 20 dampers are shut, people in the bridge can close the water tight doors.

*If all the water tight doors are closed when the iceberg hits, the ship will make it to newyork.
