Extreme 4x4 from Russia - Amphibious VIKING-2992

In the past 10 years alone, 3.5 billion people have been affected by flooding. Very few civilian vehicles exist today that can adequately support rescue operations. Viking has a high-flotation boat frame for full amphibious operation and is the only amphibious off-road vehicle in the world to have passed through certification to meet UNECE regulations. Its water propulsion system can drive the vehicle at speeds up to 15 km/h, allowing safe crossing of inland water obstacles even against the current. Low ground pressure balloon tyres with massive contact area provide performance similar to that of tracked vehicles, while minimizing environmental impact and soil damage for sensitive littoral roles.

It´s fully amphibious with water jet propulsion, since propellers are not allowed in some water areas. It´s for big areas floods, in mountain river floods you wouldn´t rescue anything anyway. The tires are 'special production', one for appr. 800 US$. The motor is in the cab and there´s still place for 6 passengers, I don´t think it´s louder than in a medical helicopter though :-)

Is it floating or wading?

I think if the maximum speed is 15 km/h its very slowly it cant survive in floods because floods water run about 30 km/h and come with a lot of dengar items like stones and heavy equpment and this things can destroy this car at high speed .
