I think it is because when you lose the weight you cant use fat jokes anymore and everyone laughs at fat jokes. If you aren't fat and you make fat jokes, you look like a jerk.

He would still be funny without the weight but obviously he wouldn't be talking about food and buffets. His delivery is what makes him hilarious. I do respect your comment though because its clean and everybody looks at comedians differently .

Give the guy a break, lol - he's lost tons of weight and he's hilarious! Check out his old videos and see how far he's come. I just love him - he was so nice at the show - even took pics with us afterwards - very sweet, funny soul!
