Canon digital Ixus 990 IS, HD film review (part 1)

Just receved my Canon ixus 990 IS, and since (at this time) there are no movies to showcase the quality of the HD film on this photocamera I thought I'd upload one for u.

Yes it can, but ofcourse you'll loose quality.

Do you mean it can Zoom in Digital or Optical?

I have the Ixus 100 IS HD 12.1 and it can only Zoom in Optical BEFORE you press record and then Digital afterwards.

It's still only digital zoom, but if you don't zoom in to much the quality is accapteble.

I've got a IXUS 990 IS too, but the framerate of the HD footage is extremely poor, very shocky. I try'd it with 2 different SD cards, of wich one was a SDHC of 6MB/s, so that can't be the problem I think. The 640 mode is smooth as expected. Does anyone know what can be wrong and how I can fix this? Thanks, bedankt!

thanks for the answer, its just that i read somewhere that the camera under this model ( ixus110 is ) couldnt zoom while recording in hd which sucks becaus id love a wide angle lense camera with hd recording capability....but the no zoom kinda ruined it for me. this model it is then.
