Thanks to my Mom and Dad, I just received two large boxes packed with Atari computer stuff! They're happy to have it out of the basement and I'm pleased as punch and pie to have it all back in my life! Sit back and enjoy part II of this unboxing (and trip down Childhood Memory Lane!). Please subscribe if you haven't already! More videos to come!

  • Did you ever hook up the items and see if everything still worked?

  • @Lumotaku I love the style of the XL/XE computers. They look like something you'd see in Star Trek: The Next Generation.

  • The atari computers were more futuristic looking than todays computers.

  • Haha, love the binder. Also from Rochester, and plenty of those found their way to our house too!

  • ah basements and water damage always goes hand and foot. I have had many things that have been destroyed because they was in the basement. my C64 syste, books and drives and software, my TI-99/4A and PEB, my Mac 512k, my intellivision, my 2600. man the horrors of storing stuff in the basement. looks like you lucked out

  • @dvamateur

    how did it go then?

  • Yep clean your retro devices a bit with retr0brite.

    I like this computer

  • Perform Retr0brite on the keys and they will look like new!

  • The XE had a beautiful styling. I used to have a 65XE, and then 1040STE. I gave both away, which I regret now. So, I am bidding for a 1040STE on eBay. Wish me luck!

  • I waited till this vid to post, so i could see the series, haha. Anyway, I love watching people unbox and repair, and actually SHOW what they are working on...especially when it comes to classic gaming and computing! Keep up the vids! I'm enjoying them TONS. And get them systems up and running soon! ;) Take care!
