  • Am I the only one creeped out by these computer generated voice conversations that have no real grounding?

Is this supposed to be a how-to? An example worth studying?

Am I the only one who noticed she has no real computer skills and that she "has a friend" who's "shown me a dual boot computer a bunch of times" --- that does not make you ready to deal with configuring, updating and fixing a linux machine.

  • @JohnDobak Yes, it is interesting that some folks claim she deserves the job because she appears to be "an excellent communicator" and others; like yourself, claim she knows close to nothing and deserves nothing. My sense would be that successful companies would not find this sort of employee an overly attractive candidate.

  • Looks like to me that she is an excellent communicator that happens to be a woman. That usually rubs the wrong way for some folks. She is asking for and opportunity to get in. When she is in she will do as she said and learn as much as her heart desires. Men do this all the time. I don't have a problem with it. As far as knowing the job and being a hard worker...I see that she will prove both as time progresses on the job. Go for it lady!

  • @LindaJeffersonSCG3 I find it interesting that you view generally evasive and completely non responsive answers to the questions as a way of "asking for an opportunity to get in." Whether it's a man or a woman, I think nearly all would view these types of responses to technical questions as useless. I chose the female avatar as the interviewee because it was free and the first one I stumbled upon. It certainly wasn't meant as "code" to suggest only women make poor candidates

  • O.M.G ! I wish I were the WOMAN !

    >!<

Well, if all companies only look for those experienced ones rather than beginners, what are beginners supposed to do in their life after having graduated ? Comit suicide ???

    Honestly, no comment...

What should we do, in everyday life, in order to get such a skill and self-confidence ???

Any good links to recommend me about IT world ? I really wish to expert the IT WORLD !

  • @bruceandlisa .....or have so many paper engineers who don't know how to do something in the real world. *sigh*

  • That's freaking funny stuff!! Reading through these comments it's hilarious to see some people taking this seriously! This is done tongue in cheek, making fun of how people can amd do smooth talk their way into a job when they don't even have a basic knowledge of how to do it. If only all candidates were this honest and forthcoming in how little they actually know in meeting the objectives of the position, we'd not hire and fire so many idiots....

  • @3ary1 So true!
