johnedwards: You are correct. Let's compare people that are the most similar. Olbermann with Matthews since both were fired from the anchor desk. I like Mathews better because sometimes he can be unbiased.

Olberman says it is fair to compare the Clinton and Bush presidencies. That sounds fair.
I think the same goes for newsmen. Let's compare Olbermann with Walter Cronkite.
Cronkite was voted most trusted news person in America. Olbermann has been voted one of the most biased commentators on TV.
Cronkite spent 3 decades with the same network-Olberman was with 3 networks in one decade.
Cronkite rarely let his emotion show but when he did he was sincere. Olbermann....need I say anything.
