  • amy would be proud! :)

  • @pinklaurarose @pinklaurarose thank you, hehe =) Funny story: It was actually an accident that part in the bridge where she sings "And I can't hold on" in this video, when i edited it, it looked like she was looking at me playing drums as her face faded into the next clip as she smiled. It was a happy accident =P here: 4:23-4:29 its kinda 'whoah' , lol

  • I have heard this song and i dont think there is drums... is there? It sounds incredible with your beats on top of it.. great job....

  • thank you. no it doesn't have any drums =)

  • uh oh....critic. don't worry rocker, remember what Amy Lee said? I don't know if this is it exactly but something like, 'if people criticize you for being different, it probably means you're doing something right' you told me that one :)

    So, no worries :)

  • mas que merda é essa????

  • @rockeramazon haha, i see! :D it happens :)

  • OMG i was sitting here at my piano with my laptop (i was getting some sheet music off evanescencereference) and i came across this video. So i turned the volume up played the video and played good enoughat my piano while listening to the drums with it and i felt like i was rockin out with u lmao.

Ur reallly talented. keep it up!

  • Thanks! For piano's I know it's quite difficult to tune them actually, since you only set the A to the 440Hz (or whatever it is) frequency, and have to do the rest by ear, since if you aim for the set notes it will sound horrible (something with intervals). So, I think we can conclude tuning a guitar is easiest ;)

  • yup u sure can although it's alot more tricky than tuning say a piano or guitar where there are set notes to aim for. With drums you have to consider the drum itself, the type of head, the room etc...its a bit of an art ;) although i have heard the ppl who tune the grand pianos are pretty skilled...

  • Ah! Of course, tighter = higher tone. I always thought there was 1 optimal 'tightness' where a drum would function (so 1 tone) and any other setting would make it too loose or too tight. And grin - you go, MacGyver Style! Very cool video by the way, I don't come anywhere near you when it comes to sense for rhythme (thankfully with piano you can cheat a little ;) )

  • its not a dumb question =) There's something called a key, and on the rim of the drum, there is these little knob things. You put the key on there, and it turns them. The tighter they are, the higher they are....I don't know if they make the sound of a note, lol, like a tympani does. I guess it's just preference. I put tape on mine, but i'm gonna try to remove it to see what happens.

  • *dumb question* you can tune drums ?? I never knew!
