i was in the stadium and i was 10 years then but you know the only thing that i remember is that public was scream an was happy with tchachina and not with kabaeva..............she is the winner of olympics!
I do think that, despite being Russian, she did deserve to be in the podium. I'm not sure if she deserved silver (I'm not a RG judge, so I don't know if Anya actually deserved to be above her in the ranking), but I guess we all agree that the one that was out of place in there was Kabaeva. I miss Tchachina.
She has strong rhythmic and she deserved qualifying to the final. However, she dropped her clubs and her steps were off for some of the element. If she managed to win the silver with this performance, I believed that the Russians were, once again, given the advantages, which makes this sport one of the most unfair sport in the olympics.
well she didn't drop the clubs when she neded the strongest routine, this was just qualification. and everybody droped something. her clubs performance in the finals was beautyfull and was the highest raked clubs routine in the finals...
This routine was for qualifying round. And counting the other apparatus score made her to the final. Her final routine using clubs was done better than this video.
