With his plans to reform the nation's healthcare system in doubt, President Barack Obama urged lawmakers to get a bill out of Congress before their August recess.

A government run healthcare system is financially unstable. ObamaCare is not the solution. Unfortunately, the national dialogue on this issue is partisan and polarized. One side is looking at their wallet and the other side is trying to grab the wallet.

This is just another example of Obama's massive takeover of the private sector economy.

I'm glad that Obama got the healthcare bill passed, but the Democrats need to take the healthcare mandate out. The healthcare mandate is why many people especially independents are opposed to it.

@timmunst Why can't the government and the private sector come together to solve healthcare. Just making it government run or privately run is not good. Private sector insurance is all about profit and not about improving the lives of people. The public sector insurance provides the bare minimum. There was no single payer or public option in the healthcare bill, so where is the take over by the government. It was a gift to the insurance companies who don't really care about your health.
