Women should be paid the same as men if they do the same about of work.That is only decent and fair.Sarah Palin is against this and many other womens issues.I hope women can realize that voting for McCain And SP is like voting their rights away.Just because someone shares the same gender as you doesn't mean that they care about the issues about your gender. Republicans for decades have been against womens rights, them choosing SP is nothing but a gimmick I hope women realize this.I'm a man btw.

To: joekid33: Better yet, why the hell is it still an issue? I suffered gender discrimination at a major shipping company and it was devastating. Enforce the laws and come down hard on the companies that tolerate it. Men, and now myself, a woman are tired of all the whining. Women have made great gains. Reward for MERIT only! No affirmative action (rev. discrimination), no preferential treatment (paid maternity leave), etc. ENOUGH!

I just cannot understand how feminists think that women should be paid when they're on maternity leave (your choice to have a kid, you pay for it), family med. leave, etc. I had to take time off to care for my Mom dying of cancer under the FMLA; I didn't expect pay while out. Everything you support is SOCIALISM!
