Presented on the hillside beneath the majestic Manti LDS Temple, this pageant tells the story of the Mormon pioneers who were driven from their homes by religious persecution and the faith, dedication, and sacrifice it took to settle the remote Sanpete Valley of central Utah. It tells the story of the restoration of Christ's gospel in modern times and of Christ's visit to the ancient people of the Americas. The pageant began as a local community celebration in 1967 and has grown to include over 650 cast members, 500 stage crew, and is seen by over 75,000 visitors each year. Bring your whole family and plan on spending a day of it, attending the pageant and exploring all the cultural and scenic attractions Sanpete Valley has to offer.
