now ima show you how to put your device in dfu mode
aka: recovery mode.

step by step:

first of all you dont have to cout,
some times it goes more then the count,
some people gave you
like this,

1. hold the home button then the power button
( hold them together at the same time )

2. now wait for the chime ( the sound chime you hear when you plug and unplug u ipod)

3. when you hear that (the chime) let go of the power button.




4. KEEP HOLDING THE HOME BUTTON

5. wait for the chime again. when you do let go of the home button

6. ur ipod should be non responsive and will not be recognized by ur pc, dont worry its suposed to be like that,

you are redy to go! :)

    1)Turn off your iProduct.

    2) Unplug the iPoduct.

    3)Hold the "HOME" button.

    4)Plug in the USB.

    5)iTunes will pop up telling you that you have to restore. done :)

  • i did it for my friends ipod touch 2g, but mine wont work.

  • @FinalDrag0n That is recovery mode not DFU mode ;)
