  • This guy is retarded, why would you EVER lunge with that much weight. It's very dangerous, even if he has been doing these for years. Besides after heavy sets of squats and leg press, he shouldn't be able to do this much weight.

  • @HawkReborn - He's doing them because he can! The guy is a professional bodybuilder so I would think he knows what he is doing and obviously has been successful with it. Why would he listen to you?

  • This is not some Olympia Expo side-show. This is Darrel training in the gym and yes this is real. It was fimed with my camera. I have seen Darrel do lunges with 585 before. It is one of the most impressive strength feats I have ever witnessed. The guy is the real deal.

  • This guy is a National level bodybuilder and has been doing these type of lunges for years. I believe he knows what he is doing. His legs are the size of tree trunks and ripped! Do a Google search for "Darrel Hobson" and check pictures of this dude!

  • To all the people judging what he should and shouldnt do or what he is or isnt capable of, being GREAT at anything is about pushing the limits. you don't get smarter by constantly practicing elementary math, you push your mental limits you go further you get smarter and along the way you get headaches, mental fatigue and maybe even weakened eye sight from eye strain.
