Why do you try to trick yourself and calling this spaghetti? Its zucchini! I think i might go and eat a vegan raw pizza made out of steak.

@RawFoodDietNow Hi, I am very new at this and I have no idea of what you two are talking.... what is 80/10/10.?? what is your ideal way / percentage of eating? I ask this, because I am slowly transinting to Raw and I want to reap the best benefits! thanks :)

@ocergnairb You should be over eating nuts. They are good for you. You have to actually excersise to lose weight also, you can't just eat low fat everything, you will get fat again the first time you stray from your diet. If you combined diet and excersise you won't be restricted to a permanent diet. Dieting is not the answer anyway.

so raw vegans are allowed to have olive oil? I'm confused. I started today. for breakfast I had prunes and juice. For dinner I had zucchini and squash and later on I made a banana apple orange smoothie :)
I just thought you could have olive oil. can you drink tea? sorry I just need some help lol

isn't this diet kind of ....silly? what's the reason of eating no cooked things? can me answer somebody, please?
While I love raw food as well, I just caution that this 'meal', while the sauce has some dense fatty ingredients, is very low in calories to sustain oneself 'til the next meal. In doing research with 80-10-10, I've noticed that this is often the problem with raw food dishes and this is why many turn to cooked foods or overeat on nuts, oils and avocados. Just a thought, not trying to be mean. -Brian

@ocergnairb Good points Brian. This was a small dish to begin with. Plus, I generally have 4 meals per day. Although my rawness changes from time to time, when 90-95% raw I haven't experienced "calorie deprivation." I agree that too much dietary fat is not good, though I'm not sure I agree with 10% of calories as in 80/10/10.

You're welcome! Thanks for giving it a try. Great to hear it turned out okay in the end... =^D Crunchy cauliflower is a great idea. If you crumble it up & sprinkle it on top, it would even look like parmesan cheese!
