I don't understand why the mother didn't notice how much different she was behaving than she was before. The father noticed. She seems especially unobservant.

I've never seen a movie that was so spot on to how I feel. The secrets, and then the breakdown. People thinking you're "weird" I'm finally dealing with situation and its been years in the making. Its hard to describe to somebody how alone you feel when nobody gets why you cant just "get over it" "move on" I still feel like it happened yesterday, slowly but surely I am putting my life back together. This movie is what sparked my own self-discovery. It broke down the walls that I built up.

Oh wow people. "Teenyboppers" like Twilight? My mom likes Twilight. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you always have to tell people about how stupid you think they sound because they like it. The book was better than the movie. The people who don't like it, probably have only seen the movie. Pick up a book and put down the remote the next time you want to comment on it.
This was Kristen's best movie. I can't wait to get the book.
