  • nice!! im building one at the moment :-)

i agree with flexmaniac though, im making mine adjustable so the hang point can be altered

  • Yeah, I reckon it's a combination of a few things, I think the angle of attack is too high as well as me not bringing the nose back down when it lifted. I am not going to adjust the hang point, rather move the pilot assembly back or forward to achieve different angles of attack. I am keen to rebuild it better for next time, I have got some better ideas, it's just a matter of getting time to work on it. Not too far away I hope. Thanks to everybody for the positive feedback. Cheers, Brett

  • have you done anything else to this microlight yet?

  • hi yes it seemed to climb to quickly , and proberly going to fast , i think just enough speed to fill the kite and lift , maby hop into travel adjust and dial ele and elo back a bit . but well done

  • Wow, your Wife laughs too,

Yeah we all been there. It is part of the adventure

  • Wow, aerobatics for the very first time! :) Nice aircraft anyway!

  • Il a fait le modèle lui-même.

  • bonjour je desire acheter un ulm rc comme le votre, ou est ce que je peux trouver ce model ?

    Merci.

    super ta video.

  • i'm waiting to see it flying!

  • I'm waiting for the next video!:) It's a really cool plane

  • Always handy to do some test glides on a gentle slope in a headwind so you can work out all your balance and control issues before adding offset thrust to the mix.

Except for helis, I test glide all my powerplanes on a big grassy hill with some headwind before attempting powered takeoffs.
