Sasuke still cares for them if you watch the whole series you'll notice he still cares for them if it wasn't foir Madara that son of a b**** then Naruto would've fufilled his promise to Itachi on bringing Sasuke back to Kohona there's this episode i forgot whichi one he tells Juugo that he has to pretend to want to really kill them or he won't be able to hold back because he truly cares and the village destroyed his brother's life..
