Are Demi Lovato and Trace Cyrus Dating?

When it comes to online romances, myspace is so last season-it's all about Twitter-even for celebrities.

Hello clevver friends-I'm Joslyn Davis and today we're chatting about the newest hollywood romance or shall I say twittermance to hit the web. Demi Lovato was first linked to a romance with John Mayer which was obviously a ridiculous rumor, but her latest link for an online love affair puts her with Miley's older bro and Metro Station rocker Trace Cyrus. The two seem to be getting pretty chummy and flirtatious on twitter BUT in a recent interview with MTV Demi went above and beyond to insist that she is single.

But come on guys-who sends someone a message that says: "haha it's 3:30 in Japan and I'm still awake. But I blame you! Cause I can't get you off my mind. I'm forcing myself to sleep now!" That was sent to Demi by Trace---and call me crazy but that seems pretty flirty if you ask me.

Then just days ago Trace whose band is touring Europe messaged Demi again saying "So I promise to only see the Eiffel Tower from a far distance. Still waiting to be there with you." Oh and I should also mention that he finished it off with a love symbol. IF that's not clear cut romance, I don't know what is.

And here's where the plot thickens. Demi tweeted back with "I may be single but Trace Cyrus is my favorite." Oh and she also finished off with a love symbol.

So seriously, what's the deal? Are they playing a joke on us? Or do they really like each other. Wouldn't they make a great couple? What do you guys think? Leave us a comment and let us know-is it a twittermance or is this real love.
