Senna had clutch problems from the start - his car was handicapped from the beginning.
Also Berger was running way too much fuel boost and wouldnt have finished the race anyway - Ferrari didnt expect to finish so they just decided to make a good show leading the race for a while though they knew they couldnt maintain it until the end - but as it turned out - he didnt finish for other reasons.
