While Obama was smoking dope in college, McCain chose to get hazed for four years at the United States Naval Academy so he could serve his country. While Obama had to choose between drinking, smoking dope, or going to class, McCain was getting yelled at, studying, or being inspected at formation. While Obama has made every move of his political career as a calculated strategy to buy votes, McCain has consistently done what is in the best interest of America. I am an American. If Obama is elected in a few weeks, federal taxes, spending, and the deficit are all going to rise. Obama wants billions in new spending, and combined with the loss in revenue from an economy in recession, will increase the deficit. Obama will raise tax rates to the point where they distort incentives to work, invest, and produce. Obama's higher taxes will therefore result in less investment and risktaking on the part of capital owners, whose capital finances new companies that create jobs.

I think this is a great idea. I noticed natural gas for transportation is part of the Pickens plan. We need to encourage this conversion for many more vehicles somehow, someway. Let's get serious and use an all of the above policy to reduce our dependence on energy from foreign sources.

Did you know?- John would not have gotten into the academy had his father not gotten him a legacy exception...or that he graduated at the bottom of his class.

I think it is a bit shameless that he portrays himself as a war hero when he broke under pressure ( while many others did not)

He over plays the "hero" card .
