Greenpeace crushes bulbs, to promote energy efficiency

As G8 and EU ministers gather in Berlin Germany last month to discuss energy efficiency measures, Greenpeace activists used a mechanised road roller to crush ten thousand energy-wasting light bulbs at the Brandenburg Gate. Greenpeace is demanding tough European efficiency standards for energy using products, and an immediate ban on incandescent light bulbs.

@GOLDENSLUGS Either you wana try and scam ppl or YOU have been scammed urself buddy. CFLs are expensive and dont last any longer than incandescents. I'm not going to compromise using gloomy, ugly light and turn my home into a hospital waiting room because u greenies CLAIM that cfls will prevent the melting of the ice in the North Pole. As far as global warming is concerned, not all scientist agree on it. And the ones who do agree on it like AL WHORE, get funded by government which comes out of our pockets. i have hundreds of boxes of incandescents. i think just to piss off these greenies, im gona start leaving my lights on 24 hours a day. and yes, i ONLY use incandescents in my house. whats even more incredible is that these are grown ass ppl acting like a bunch of school kids crushing light bulbs.
