Yes, I know I recorded the cursor. The video was completely unplanned, and I didn't have time to prepare.
You see, I was lazing around at my home (in Second Life), when at the corner of my screen, I catch something of interest going by on the railroad. And there it was, the longest train I have yet seen on SL. And probably the longest, considering what I know about current train programming limitations. So I fly out to it, and find that I can go along for the ride. Afterwhich, I decide I may as well record a video.
The station that this takes place at is VRC Grand Central. It is the largest station on the Second Life Railroad. It can be found here, for those who are curious:

Now, when I started recording, I presumed I would simply be showing off a record-sized train. For Second Life, anyway. Unawares to both me and the engineer, the station houses an automated trolley that goes through and around the station. And it will NOT make sure that nothing's in the way. So as the trolley made its way around its course, the passenger cars got switched onto the same track that the trolley was turning onto. And so our robot monkey friend had to manually put the train back together.
Yes, SL's train programming still needs some work. I'm actually a decent programmer in Second Life, so I actually know how to solve this issue. Unfortunately, I'm also one of the laziest people in the world, so I probably won't be able to complete such a script.
By the way, at around 1:25, you can see a recently built bridge, still under construction. Had this occurred just a week earlier, you would've seen the entire bridge using a wood texture.
And yes, the engineer really was a robot monkey. In fact, I think the avatar is one of the current starter avs. But his name wasn't actually Planetarium. Whoops. =P Oh well, it's still a good name for a robot monkey, right?
Well, that was...oddly hypnotic...
