Canadian PETE MCLEOD (84) featured: British pilot, number 55, Paul Bonhomme won the Red Bull Air Race on a beautiful Sunday afternoon (14 June 2009) by clocking the fastest speed (1:08 minutes) over the tight-twisting course. Close to 300 thousand people were on hand to watch the race and in these difficult economic times this event has been deemed a huge success.
My personal experience of the performance rates a very high star. I found all aspects of the Red Bull race to have been conducted at a profound professional level, equivalent to similar events done by NASCAR or any other North American, professional sporting-event. Those involved with the announcing tasks were simply superb! I thank Red Bull for putting on such an exciting show and for issuing me a press pass so I could cover the race up close. The whole show was very exciting!
Hope to see you all again, soon, and continued success with your company's production - reporter, Mike Elliott.
