The audience were expecting another band - The Kid was a last minute replacement, and I think were not their cup of tea!

Can't beat the Lifeboat Party Tour though.....
I seem to remember that the band came on as a late replacement for another band that couldn't make it, so the audience were expecting someone else, still that's no excluse for standing around like planks of wood

That Leisure tour was really a blessing with so many people on top of their art !
Jimmy Rippetoes riffs were so dynamic, Bongo's percussions were a treat for your toes, the girls dancing exploded with such energy...oh boy, such wonderful memories !
By the way, what's the matter with the audience : how can you attend this and just stand still ?!
