  • What did our LORD say about repetitious prayer ? When you pray, go into your room, and shut your door, pray to your FATHER who is in the secret place; and your FATHER who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Matthew 6: 6,7 Prayer is the spontaneous expression of the heart before God, of praise, thanksgiving, confession, and petition.

  • @MrACJ278 A strong proof that demonstrates that Jesus does not condemn repetition in prayer is when he himself prayed three times in the garden. "So, leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words" Matthew 26:44 Psalm 136 which is part of the harmony of the Word of God has the phrase, “for his steadfast love endures for ever” which is more repetitious than any Catholic prayer.

The rosary is the life of Jesus in prayer.

  • Sorry..Look at the end of John.

  • Look at the end of Chapter 21 -

I quote from the Bible. Conclusion : It is this disciple who testifies to these things and has written them, and we know that his testimony is true. There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books and would be written.

Bible is NOT the only source.

  • @Soulrestorer a friend told me, 'For a believer, proofs are not necessary; and for a not-believer, there are no any proofs will sufficient' ;)

  • @MrInseine we pray the Lords prayer in the rosary, as we learn of the life of Jesus.

  • @stevesilvia Oh yes… So he is! (As if I did not know) BUT where is the Rosary? You still have not explained WHY.

Jesus told us to pray by saying "Our Father", therefore it makes sense not to pray to Mary by saying "Hail Mary". You need to stick to the Bible my friend.
