This is Zuri, an Akita rescued by Joann Dimon of ARWNY, in his former 'home'. A dirt hole in New Jersey, ears half eaten by flies, weighing in at a mere 58 lbs. Everyone should know that Zuri now has a new home, and has filled out and shaped up to be a gorgeous boy, so there is a happy ending! Unfortunately, we have to somehow put a stop to this insanity in the name of 'ownership'. Check out my Akita attire at http://www.akitawear.com

  • nice place to take a NAP!

  • People can give their unwanted dog up for adoption.

  • God bless YOU! what the hell is wrong with people!?

  • Thank you also, for taking this dog out of such a deplorable situation. There has got to be a judge who would rule this as enough abuse to prevent its return to the people who would/could do no better!

  • Thanks for rescue this baby. I have akitas, they are full of love, the best friends... breaks my heart to see how this dog was treated. YOu did wonderful. Am going to see you site now.
