@ShrimpnoodIes well, having the spirit reside in her doesn't automatically make her a shaman. She must learn all the rituals, traditions, and history associated with shamanism. Also, the spirit mother, at least if she is legit, does not charge her spirit daughter any fees. I wouldn't say it's a scam.
