Alright so we both provide a needed service to the community, neither is better than the other and we all cover up some shit at some time or another, so shut it. And FYI......every department near my area has a set number of "contacts" that are to be made by officers on a traffic stop basis only and can be repremanded if an officer doesn't meet it....I call that a quota. And go ahead and mouth off about medics and firefighters all you want, cause they will save ur stupid Ass 1 day dipshit....

@SuperBignig14 Everyone covers for each other. In fact firefighters and EMTs are the worst. They forget to take a blood pressure. They make an error in patient care. What do they do? Cover it up. That's ten times worse then a cop covering up something he did justifiably anyway.

@firemans33 And what is the difference between them? Firefighters have an avg IQ of 93 while cops have an avg IQ of 104. Sure, they wanted to be firemen....until they realized they weren't stupid enough.

@007Influence Wrong. The national standards set for departments for hiring cops vs firefighters are much higher. Also the probability of a cop dying in the line of duty vs a firefighter is 3/1. And the firefighters who do die in the line of duty usually do so from heart problems. Something they could fix by being in shape.

@SuperBignig14 Yes, i have. Actually, we have sent 3 firefighters to jail for murder in the last 4 years in my city. Last cop we sent to jail was 6 years ago for stealing some shoes. And he was retired.

@SuperBignig14 very common to HEAR of it....less than 1% are crooked...and if you paid them more than $45000 a year to strap on a bullet proof vest and deal with all of the bullshit that they have to, maybe the very few that are crooked, wouldnt be (but more than likely they are just shitty ppl that slip through the cracks of the hiring process)....you shouldnt generalize police as crooked as a whole, which is what you are implying with "very common"...kinda like generalizing black ppl as felons
