What if Donna was Romana?

This is sort of a reimagining of the end of season 4. It is sort of like a trailer/episode-thing...not sure what to call it. I edited some scenes around to make it look like Donna was a fob-watched Romana.

I read about the theories going around that she might be and there seemed to be some evidence, although most of it was likely alluding to her transformation into the Doctor Donna and ultimate memory wipe 'death'.

I know that if Donna did turn out to be Romana it sort of takes something from her character as the 'normal' companion and essentially if she did change to Romana, Donna would die. But, I think that is better than her getting mind wiped and never seen again.

I really hope Catherine Tate will decide to come back eventually and Donna Noble will show up again in Doctor Who. She was my favorite companion of the new series.

There are numerous ways that one can surmise that Donna was really Romana; my own theory being based on the fact that Donna made numerous references to the fact that she was a Temp (the Latin noun 'tempus'; meaning 'TIME' together with the Italian word for 'LADY' being 'donna').

Remember that RTD is a very clever writer and it's my belief that he intentionally left all these red herrings lying around to get us questioning things and, in turn, keeping the show in the public consciousness.

@Shockszzbyyous oh dear god, there has to be new characters you know! River must be the -SPOILERS- doctor's wife. That is obvious. But romana didn't love the doctor. She's human. It says in The Forest of the Dead 'you came to my house'. That implies earth and I don't see Romana settling down. I think it's interesting but now in the new series they severed all links with the time war. The master is likely to return but romana? Don't hold your breath. Although it would be great seeing her return.

@XxXLucozadeXLoverXxX Have to say not really; Rose and Martha had nothing to do with Donna, so saying that she could potentially be Romana because the name contains some of the letters of the aforementioned companions' names requires more than a leap of faith as far as I can see. :/
