@paulallen34 - sorry, I don't have the time right now to do a more detailed tutorial. This video is really rather for advanced players who can follow my playing and the few explanations I gave. A lot of YouTubers learned the song this way though. I got many mails

how many years of lessons do you need to play at your level?
i start my piano lessons in september and i love the earth song.

@robertennick - that is hard to say. I`m sure that some talented beginners can lern to play the song like that. To play at my level, as you ask, is a question of style. Some of the techniques I use can be obtained quickliy, some need years. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS: YOU CAN HAVE FUN AT THE PIANO EVEN AS A BEGINNER. AND A SIMPLE SONG PLAYED WITH A FEEL FOR IT WILL ALWAYS SOUND GREAT...
