Thank you
-
The new firmware releases are now having the AAC codec built in, so no problems with the audio anymore.

what are you?! a gay? who need that?!
-
how about the audio quality during phone calls ? that will be fixed to with the firmware update ?
-
I gave up to buy this phone because of this. The audio quality is really bad, although the overrall tech specs from the phone are great.
But what the heck, if I record a movie I want to hear it good! My Nokia N81 has it's recorded sound waaaay better than this Samsung.
-
that audio quality sux...for example, nokia n82 or n95 can record much better audio quality in video...
-
The sound really sux a looooooooooot.....i have this phone and its has many issues....bad audio ....no 3d task manager as samsung was advertising(samsung dares to advertise it in the *how to* video that comes with the phone tho...) ....and in the hd mode...the video has way lower number of frames(<24fps)....

Who said they were going to do something about it?
There is a big IF in there.
Besides the engineers know that AMR sounds bad and if they didn't include it before I don't think they will now. There must be some reasons that we don't know, we can only speculate. Whether it is hardware limitation or license/marketing issues, I AM NOT GETTING THIS PHONE, because this audio is unacceptable for an expensive device like this.

wish it was qhd

That is great..
BenM just said that they are going to fix it..
"Right now, there is no more information I can give on if, how, or when this problem will be resolved. But we are not ignoring it. As soon as we have something helpful to tell you, we will post it!"

Yes , it's great to know that they are going to do something about this and that they actually care. I hope that samsung will keep constant updates to provide best user experience and use full power of omap3 processor.

Hi, thanks for all the videos.
Could u pls tell me what's the max resolution for slow-motion recording? Website reviews say QVGA but someone on youtube who got the phone says it's VGA. 320x240 or 640x480? Thanks. =)

Unfortunatelly, max resolution in slow motion mode is only 320x240

Hi, nice vid!
I have a question:
Which firmware version do you have on your Omnia HD? You can check which version you have by typing *#0000# in standby mode.
tnx!
